Juicy cutlets without bread and flour: what to add to the minced meat

Traditionally, bread and flour are added to the minced meat to keep the cutlets in shape and make them fluffy. But this dish is very high in calories. Therefore, the ingredients can be replaced. The taste will be very delicate and light.

The idea of cooking cutlets with semolina and whipped onions and garlic was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Galina with the nickname reeixit.

Method of preparation:

1. For cutlets, you will need 1 kg of minced pork/veal 50/50.

2. Take 3 medium onions, 3 cloves of garlic, and 1 egg, beat everything in a blender.

3. Add to the minced meat, add 100 g of semolina, mix well.

4. Form the patties. Optionally, you can dip them in flour or breadcrumbs, but you can do without.

5. Fry over medium heat, slightly above medium on one side under a closed lid.

6. Turn over and reduce the heat to medium-low and cook, also covered, until tender.

7. The time depends on the size of the cutlets – about 3 minutes on each side.
