Juicy chicken wings that don't need to be marinated: they taste just like KFC
Traditionally, chicken wings are marinated before cooking to ensure that the meat is well soaked in the marinade and juicy. But it turns out that there is a simpler way to cook the dish without this step, which saves a lot of time. It's simple: bake the chicken wings in breading or just flour and then combine them with a delicious sauce.
Chef Valerii Ponomar with the nickname ponomar_valeriy shared a recipe for baked chicken wings with sauce on his Instagram page, which do not need to be marinated beforehand.
Ingredients:
- chicken wings – 1 kg
- salt, pepper
- flour – 2 tbsp
- tomato sauce – 2 tbsp
- honey – 1 tbsp
- garlic – 1 clove
- vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
- wine vinegar 6% – 1 tsp
- sesame seeds – 1 tsp
Method of preparation:
1. Dry the wings from moisture with a paper towel. Season with salt and pepper. Leave for 20 minutes.
2. Sprinkle with flour and mix thoroughly. Put on a wire rack.
3. Bake at 200 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Turn the wings over when one side is golden.
4. Meanwhile, mix the ingredients for the sauce: tomato sauce, honey, garlic, vegetable oil, and vinegar.
5. Mix the hot wings with the sauce.
6. Serve the wings sprinkled with sesame seeds.
