Jam that doesn't need to be stirred during cooking: the easiest recipe
Apricot jam, which does not need to be stirred during cooking, while the halves of the fruit remain intact, is an ideal option for a housewife.
Food blogger Victoria Reutska shared this successful recipe on her Instagram. According to her, this jam is very simple and quick to make.
Ingredients:
- 5 kg of apricots
- 1 kg of sugar
- 1 lemon.
Method of preparation:
1. Wash and dry the apricots. You need them hard, not soft. Cut in half and remove the pit.
2. Put them in a saucepan or cooking container that is most convenient for you and sprinkle with sugar. Add the juice of one lemon and leave for 12 hours.
3. Then put it on the fire, let it boil, and cook for 5 minutes. Turn off and leave for 12 hours.
4. Turn on again, boil for 5 minutes and 12 hours.
5. Prepare jars, sterilize.
6. For the third time, let it boil, cook for 5 minutes, turn it off and pour it into jars.
7. Close the lid, wrap in a blanket and let it cool gradually.
