Ingredients:
- Water - 200 ml
- Tea rose petals - 100 g
- Sugar - 300 g
- Lemon juice - 20 ml
Method of preparation:
- First of all, take a glass bowl and grind the rose petals well with 150 g of sugar to form a gruel.
- Put water in a deep saucepan, bring it to a boil and add 150 g of sugar, stirring all the time so that the sugar does not stick but dissolves well.
- When the water boils again, add the lemon juice and add the rose petals and sugar, mix everything well, let it boil for 10-15 minutes and then turn it off.
2. Jam from two types of roses
Ingredients:
- Petals of pink or red tea roses - 500 g
- Citric acid - 1 pinch
- Sugar - 300 g
- Water - 1 glass
Method of preparation:
- Pour boiling water over the rose petals, then immediately transfer them to ice water.
- Then transfer to a bowl and mix with sugar and citric acid, mash well and leave to stand for 5-6 hours.
- Make syrup from the rest of the sugar and water: boil water, add sugar and cook until it boils.
- Add the petals, stir and cook until it boils again.
The finished jam can be eaten immediately and canned for the winter.
