Jam from gooseberries and cherry leaves: how to prepare a tasty preparation
In addition to the fact that gooseberry jam is very tasty, it is also very useful. It is easy to prepare the dessert yourself. All you need is berries and sugar. If desired, you can supplement the jam with other fruits: apples, pears, oranges and lemon.

Ingredients:
- gooseberries - 1 kg
- sugar - 1.5 kg
- water - 0.5 liters
- cherry leaves / cherry berries (0,5 tbsp)
Method of preparation:
1. Clean berries from the tails.
2. Pre-pour and wash cherry leaves or peeled berries with boiling water. Wait until the water is warm.
3. After - the same water pour sugar and stir. Wait for the water to cool down.
4. Pour water and sugar over gooseberries. Leave for 4-5 hours.
5. Drain the syrup from the berries and bring it to a boil.
6. Pour the hot syrup over the gooseberries and leave for 24 hours.
7. The next day you need to boil the jam for 15 minutes, collecting the foam.
8. Pour the jam into sterilized jars and close with lids.
