Italian omelet with tomatoes and mozzarella for breakfast

If you want a tasty and healthy dish for breakfast, the best option, of course, is a light, airy omelet with or without milk. If you add vegetables, herbs, and cheese to it, it will be even tastier.
The FoodOboz editorial team shares with you a recipe for a juicy, healthy Italian omelet – frittata, to which you can add mushrooms, and meat, and also – replace the ingredients to your liking, which will give the dish a new taste.
Ingredients:
- milk – 50 ml
- eggs – 6 pcs
- tomatoes – 2 pcs
- bell pepper – 1/2 pc
- mozzarella cheese – 200 g
- basil – 5 leaves
- olive oil – 1-2 tbsp
- salt and pepper – to taste
Method of preparation:
- Wash the vegetables, peel the seeds from the pepper, cut into strips.
- Scald the tomatoes with boiling water, remove the skin, and cut them randomly.
- Wash and chop the basil.
- Beat eggs with salt, add milk, salt, pepper, and mix.
- Grate the mozzarella.
- Be sure to take a frying pan with a removable handle, heat and pour in vegetable oil, pour in the milk-egg mixture, add peppers, tomatoes, and herbs, and sprinkle with grated mozzarella.
- Fry for about 5-7 minutes on the stovetop.
- Then put it in the oven for 10 minutes at 180 C.
The dish is best served hot and with fresh vegetables.
