If you want a tasty and healthy dish for breakfast, the best option, of course, is a light, airy omelet with or without milk. If you add vegetables, herbs, and cheese to it, it will be even tastier.

The FoodOboz editorial team shares with you a recipe for a juicy, healthy Italian omelet – frittata, to which you can add mushrooms, and meat, and also – replace the ingredients to your liking, which will give the dish a new taste.


  • milk – 50 ml
  • eggs – 6 pcs
  • tomatoes – 2 pcs
  • bell pepper – 1/2 pc
  • mozzarella cheese – 200 g
  • basil – 5 leaves
  • olive oil – 1-2 tbsp
  • salt and pepper – to taste

Method of preparation:

  1. Wash the vegetables, peel the seeds from the pepper, cut into strips.
  2. Scald the tomatoes with boiling water, remove the skin, and cut them randomly.
  3. Wash and chop the basil.
  4. Beat eggs with salt, add milk, salt, pepper, and mix.
  5. Grate the mozzarella.
  6. Be sure to take a frying pan with a removable handle, heat and pour in vegetable oil, pour in the milk-egg mixture, add peppers, tomatoes, and herbs, and sprinkle with grated mozzarella.
  7. Fry for about 5-7 minutes on the stovetop.
  8. Then put it in the oven for 10 minutes at 180 C.

The dish is best served hot and with fresh vegetables.
