It tastes much better with it: how to make a spicy plum sauce for meat for the winter
Instead of store-bought ketchup and mayonnaise, you can now prepare a spicy plum sauce for meat. It is perfectly stored and is moderately thick. You can adjust the spiciness by adding hot pepper to your taste.
The idea of making a spicy plum sauce for meat was published on the Instagram page of the cook Olha Riabenko. This preparation can also be used for other dishes.
Ingredients:
- blue plums – 1 kg (unpeeled)
- garlic – 80 g (peeled)
- sugar – 50 g
- chili pepper – to taste
- tomato sauce – 3 tbsp
- salt – 1 tbsp (without slide)
- vegetable oil – 100 ml
Method of preparation:
1. Pit the plum beforehand.
2. Put all the ingredients in a saucepan.
3. Beat with a blender.
4. Bring to a boil.
5. Boil over medium heat for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6. Pour in the oil and cook for another 3 minutes.
7. Rub through a sieve and pour into sterilized jars.
8. Add cilantro and parsley if desired.
9. Adjust the spices to taste.
10. This portion makes 3 jars of 200 grams.
