"Invisible" apple pie without dough: how to make a quick and tasty dessert

Autumn is the best time to make delicious and flavorful apple pies, which can be prepared even without dough, using pita bread, ready-made thin filo, puff pastry, and the simplest - shortbread.

The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious and quick to prepare pie with apples and no dough.

Ingredients:

  • 800 g. apples (weight unpeeled)
  • 2 eggs
  • 30 g of butter
  • 100 ml of milk
  • 70 g of flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 50 g of sugar
  • 10 g of vanilla sugar

Streusel

  • 40 g. butter
  • 80 g of flour
  • 30 g of sugar
  • 10 g vanilla sugar

Method of preparation:

1. Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla. Add the melted butter, milk, flour and baking powder.

2. Peel the apples and cut them into thin slices. Roll the apples in the dough, each piece should be covered with dough.

3. Grease a baking dish with butter and cover it with parchment (it will make it easier to take out the pie).

4. Put the apples in the mold and cover with the rest of the batter and bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 30 minutes.

5. For the streusel: add the flour, sugar, vanilla to the soft butter and grind well into crumbs. Take out the pie and sprinkle with crumbs, put it in the oven for another 20-30 minutes.

6. Cool the finished pie completely and put it in the refrigerator for a few hours, so it becomes even tastier!
