Instead of pies: lazy strudel with plums and no dough in 10 minutes
Summer is the perfect time to make delicious light desserts based on fruits and berries. You can use pita bread instead of dough, and apples, nuts, plums, and apricots for the filling.
Nutritionist Tetiana Lakusta shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious lazy strudel made from pita bread with plums in just 10 minutes.
Ingredients:
- thin pita bread – 2 pcs
- plums – 400 g
- egg – 1 pc
- butter – 2-3 tbsp
- sugar – 1 tbsp
- Oatmeal – 2-3 tbsp
Method of preparation:
1. Pit the plums and cut them into cubes.
2. Heat a frying pan, melt the butter, add the plums, add sugar, and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
3. Preheat the oven.
4. Blend the oatmeal in a blender.
5. Unfold the pita bread, put the stewed plums, sprinkle with cereal, roll the pita bread, and tuck the edges.
6. Spread the beaten egg on top of the pita bread.
7. Bake the strudel for 10 minutes at 180 degrees.
Sprinkle the strudel with powdered sugar and serve with ice cream.
