One of the most important foods that almost everyone eats is bread. It is often made from different flours and even without them, for example, from meat, vegetables, and legumes. It's worth noting that there are many alternatives to the classic product, including rye and rice breads, pita bread, Indian bread "Chapati", as well as pies, buns, dumplings, and waffles.
Food blogger Kateryna Mull shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious cottage cheese waffles that can be eaten in a variety of different, both salty and sweet spreads, as well as with fish, omelets, salads, and soups.
Ingredients:
- eggs – 1 pc
- kefir – 125 ml
- flour – 120 g
- hard cheese – 120 g
- butter – 60 g
- cheese – 100 g
Method of preparation:
1. Mix the egg with kefir.
2. Grate the hard cheese and add to the egg mixture, mix well.
3. Add the cottage cheese and mix again.
4. Sift the flour well and add it to the dough, mix and pour in the melted butter, and knead again.
5. Preheat the waffle iron and fry the waffles until golden brown.
