Snickers cake has long been one of the most popular types of baked goods. It is very tasty, nutritious, and looks beautiful. And it's not as difficult to make as it might seem at first glance.
Food blogger Tetiana shared how to do it on Instagram. She provided a step-by-step instruction of the entire process, so that everyone can make the cake.
Ingredients for a 16 cm sponge cake
- eggs - 3 pcs.
- vanilla sugar - 1 tsp.
- sugar - 100 g
- baking powder - 1 tsp.
- flour - 100 g
- cocoa - 3 tsp.
Ingredients for the cheesecake
- cream cheese - 350 g
- sugar - 100 g
- cream - 100 g
- eggs - 1 pc.
- cornstarch - 1.5 tbsp
Ingredients for caramel
- sugar - 110 g
- hot cream - 80 ml
- butter - 60 g
- salt - a pinch
- peanuts - 100 g
Method of preparation
1. First, prepare the caramel. Melt sugar until smooth and amber in color.
2. Pour in hot cream in a thin stream and mix very quickly.
3. Add butter, salt and peanuts to taste.
4. Prepare the sponge cake. Add salt and sugar to the eggs. Beat until fluffy and white.
5. Add baking powder, cocoa and flour. Mix well.
6. Bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
7. Prepare the cheesecake. Grind cream cheese with sugar, cream, egg and starch.
8. Bake at 160 degrees for an hour with a plate of water on the bottom of the oven.
9. Prepare the cream. Whip cold cream with powdered sugar. Add cottage cheese and mix until smooth.
10. Assemble the cake in the following order: cake - cream - caramel - cheesecake. Continue until you run out of ingredients.
11. Spread the remaining cream on the sides and top of the cake. Decorate as desired.
