Incredible pie with apples and custard for tea: many times better than grated one
This apple pie is exactly what you need for a cozy tea party on cold winter evenings. The dessert is somewhat similar to a grated pie in terms of cooking technology, but it tastes even more delicate and light. After all, caramelized apples and custard are a perfect tandem.

Ingredients:
Base:
- butter 82% – 80 g
- egg yolk – 2 pcs.
- rice flour – 120 g
- sweetener
Apple filling:
- apple – 400 g
- water – 70 ml
- cinnamon
- sweetener
Cream filling:
- milk – 500 ml
- eggs – 2 pcs.
- corn starch – 60 g
- butter 82% – 50 g
- vanilla
- sweetener
Method of preparation:
1. Preparation of apple filling. Cut the apples into cubes. Mix them with cinnamon, sweetener, and water. Simmer in a frying pan for 2-5 minutes.
2. Prepare the base. Chop the butter, and mix with the egg yolks and flour. Knead the dough and put it in the refrigerator.
3. Preparation of the cream. Mix all ingredients and cook until thick. Remove from heat, add butter and stir.
4. Forming the dessert (20*20 cm mold). Use 2/3 of the dough to make the bottom and sides. Put the rest of the dough in the refrigerator.
5. Put a layer of apples and a layer of cream.
6. Grate the dough and sprinkle over the cake.
7. Bake at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Cool and refrigerate for about 3 hours.
