How to successfully make cherry jam with gelatin in 15 minutes: tips and recipe
Cherries are ideal berries for making delicious jams, preserves, and flavorful fillings for dumplings, cakes, pies, and delicious drinks. They can also be dried, frozen, and marinated in cognac for the winter.
Food blogger Olha shared a recipe on TikTok for a delicious cherry jam with gelatin that turns out to be very flavorful and thick.
Ingredients:
- cherries - 1 kg
- sugar - 1 kg
- gelatin - 30 g
Method of preparation:
1. Pit the cherries and put them in a large bowl.
2. Mix sugar with gelatin, and mix well.
3. Pour in the cherries and mix, leave for 10 minutes in the refrigerator.
4. Then cook for 5 minutes.
5. Pour the hot jam into jars and preserve.
