The FoodOboz editorial staff has selected for you useful tips on how and where to properly store food for children, as well as how to heat and cook it quickly. The tips were published on Facebook on the page "Prykorm. Yogo intricacies. New ideas, fresh look."
Thermoses
In them you need to store water, thanks to which you can easily prepare porridge for children. It is worth noting that the water in them remains warm for 12-24 hours.
Thermos bag
Mostly we use them in summer, but if you take them out, this bag can also keep warm, there are also special bags like this!
Plain foil and a blanket
Foil is great for keeping heat in. Wrap your food in foil and then cover with a blanket, this way the food will keep warm for a long time.
Oven
You can heat food in the oven without turning it on, you just need to put candles for aroma lamps under the oven rack, put a plate over them, if you don't have a small katrulka or a frying pan. Condition one - do not cover the oven completely, leave a small gap.
Blanks
They will be very relevant. It is best to store cooked food in the freezer, so that it will be fresh for a long time.
Storage in the refrigerator
Store food, for your child in the first place, close to the back wall, on the shelves, because the door and the front are the most dangerous due to the opening of the refrigerator. Knowing where in the refrigerator is colder - at the top or at the bottom, you will not only preserve the quality of food, but also reduce the additional load on the appliance itself. The warmest place in the refrigerator is the door.
In single-chamber devices, the cold air comes from the freezer. So, the coldest place in such a device will be at the freezer. If the middle compartments are excessively filled, it will be difficult for the cold to get to the lower compartments, and the products on them can sooner fall into disrepair. It is worth noting that the coldest place in a single-compartment unit will be the top shelf under the freezer - this is where perishables are stored.
In two-chamber models, the cold escapes from fans located on the back wall. Therefore, the location of the coldest area will not depend on where the freezer is located. The coldest will be at the wall of the unit with water, they will work as cold elements and defrost will be slower.
