Mushrooms should not be stored for a long time, as they lose their attractive appearance and flavor. They are versatile mushrooms that go well with many foods. They are easy to clean and cook - it takes a minimal amount of time.

Preparing mushrooms for cooking

The United States ranks first in growing mushrooms, France second, and the United Kingdom third. Mushrooms are very popular in Poland, where they are added to almost all national dishes. Mushrooms should be stored for up to 5 days – over time, they begin to darken and deteriorate.

Ingredients:

  • mushrooms - 10-12 pcs.
  • cheese - 150 g
  • eggs - 2 pcs
  • onion - 1 pc
  • sour cream or mayonnaise
  • vegetable oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • favorite spices - to taste
  • dill - to taste

Method of preparation:

  1. Wash and dry the mushrooms, separate the stems from the caps, salt the caps, and put them in a baking dish
  2. Fry the chopped onion in a preheated frying pan until half cooked and add the chopped mushroom stems.
  3. Grate boiled eggs and cheese on a fine grater.
  4. Add 50 g of cheese and eggs to the onion and mushrooms, and mix with mayonnaise and spices.
  5. Stuff the mushrooms.
  6. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
  7. Take it out, sprinkle it with the rest of the cheese and herbs, and put it back in the oven for another 7-10 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • onion - 1 pc
  • butter - 30 g
  • garlic - 4 cloves
  • sun-dried tomatoes - 150 g
  • mushrooms - 400-500 g
  • white wine - 150 ml
  • salt, pepper - to taste
  • cream - 200-300 ml
  • spinach - 100-125 g
  • Parmesan cheese - 30-40 g
  • dried herbs
  • chopped parsley

Method of preparation:

  1. Simmer the onion in oil until transparent.
  2. Add garlic, cook for 1 minute.
  3. Sun-dried tomatoes – 5 minutes
  4. Mushrooms – 5 minutes
  5. Pour in the wine and cook until it evaporates.
  6. Add salt and pepper and heavy cream.
  7. In a few minutes, add the spinach – it should soften.
  8. Add parmesan cheese on top. Cook until melted.
  9. Top with your favorite herbs and parsley.

Marinated mushrooms

Mushrooms are ideal mushrooms for frying and pickling

Ingredients:

  • champignons - 1 kg
  • water - 0.5 liters
  • bay leaves - 6 pieces
  • black pepper - 6 pcs
  • allspice - 6 pcs
  • cloves - 2 pcs
  • sugar - 1 tbsp
  • salt - 1 tbsp
  • vinegar - 6 tbsp
  • garlic - 6 cloves (throw it at the very end, when the mushrooms are covered with marinade)

Method of preparation:

  1. Rinse and clean the champignons.
  2. Cook for 15 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and strain.
  4. Cook the marinade - mix all the ingredients except vinegar.
  5. When the sugar and salt have melted, pour in the vinegar and bring to a boil.
  6. Put the mushrooms in jars, pour the marinade over them, and leave them to cool.
  7. Put in the refrigerator for a day.
