Pink salmon is one of the most budget-friendly types of red fish. It is not very fatty or even dry. But if you prepare the right marinade, this product can taste as good as expensive salmon. The dish is very juicy and tender and can be tasted in just one hour.

Method of preparation:
1. If the fish is frozen, there is no need to defrost it. Fish from the freezer is easier to cut – the pieces are neat and even.
2. Make a saline solution: add salt to cold boiled water (4-5 tbsp per 1 liter).
3. If a peeled potato floats in this water, the solution is ready.
4. Immerse the fish in it for 5-8 minutes. Then take it out, rinse it, and dry it with a napkin.
Put the spices in layers in a suitable dish, pour with odorless sunflower oil.
5. Put in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes.
6. Serve with onions, lemon and herbs.

Ingredients:
- salmon or other red fish – 300 g
- water – 500 ml
- salt – 2 tbsp
- sugar – 1 tsp
- black peppercorns or ground pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Boil water and add all the ingredients.
2. Cool the water and pour over the salmon (previously washed and dried with a paper towel).
3. Close the container with a lid and refrigerate for 1 day.
4. Drain the water, pat the fish dry with a paper towel and brush with a thin layer of olive oil.
Important: Salmon should be salted only in plastic or glass containers, as metal utensils can give it an iron taste. Such fish is stored for no more than three days, so it is better to salt it in small portions.
