Salt is one of the most popular spices, without which it is difficult to imagine any dish, and it is salt that gives food its flavor. But we should not forget that all products have an alternative, and salt is no exception.

Culinary expert Yevhen Klopotenko explained on TSN how to do without salt when cooking (to watch the video, scroll to the bottom of the page).

First of all, Klopotenko advises you to reconsider your diet and reduce salt consumption, as it is a preservative, just like sugar and vinegar.

The simplest solution is to train your body to consume less salt

But if you need salt for preservation, the cook advises preserving food without salt by adding vinegar or sugar, which will not affect the quality.

"All owners and housewives are worried about how to preserve something now, so you can do it without salt, just with sugar or vinegar, and there will be no problems," Klopotenko said.
