Lush and fluffy pancakes are made mostly with kefir. In addition to kefir, you can add another simple ingredient such as semolina to the dessert batter. It makes the pancakes rise even better during the cooking process, are very porous inside, and hold their shape perfectly. By the way, you don't need to add flour to these pancakes - semolina is a great substitute.

The recipe for semolina pancakes with kefir was published on one of the cooking blogs (tomka_recepti) on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • sugar - 3 tbsp
  • kefir - 230 g
  • semolina - 300 g
  • baking soda - 0.5 tsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Mix eggs and sugar lightly with a whisk.

2. Add kefir and semolina to the egg mass. Stir, cover with foil or a towel, and leave for 30 minutes.

3. When the dough has rested, add baking soda. Stir to combine.

4. For convenience, you can put the dough in a pastry bag and use it to put the pancakes on the pan. Or use any other method. Fry the pancakes on both sides under the lid until cooked.
