How to replace avocado: nutritionist gives advice

Avocados can be replaced with cheaper products

Avocados contain very useful substances, but at the same time, they are quite expensive. Therefore, it can be replaced with other, more affordable products.

Nutritionist Natalia Dubovyk told OBOZREVATEL TV channel about this during a broadcast. "Avocados are very expensive. It is a very healthy fat for our body, but it can be replaced with seeds, butter, walnuts, or some other food," she said.

The doctor added that if a person can afford to buy expensive foods, such as asparagus, avocados, or valuable nuts, they can buy these products. But to save money, a variety of nuts can be replaced with walnuts alone, which will provide a similar set of micronutrients.

Dubovyk said that a sandwich with butter can be nutritious and healthy at the same time. However, the bread should be whole grain or bran, and the butter should be real, i.e., one with a very high-fat content.

"For example, if you take butter, then take regular butter 72%, 82%, 86%. If you take bread, it should be bran, whole grain," she explained.

Hard cheese can also be used, but it must be of high quality, the doctor noted.
