Ingredients:
- cabbage – 3-3.5 kg
- carrots – 2-3 pieces
- garlic – 3-5 cloves
Ingredients for the marinade:
- water – 1 liter
- salt – 2 tbsp
- sugar –100 g
- ground black pepper – 0.5 tsp
- allspice – 5 peas
- bay leaves – 5 pcs
- vinegar – 100 ml
Method of preparation:
1. Chop the cabbage, and grate the carrots. Add crushed or grated garlic, mix well.
2. Combine everything for the marinade except vinegar, bring it to a boil, and boil for 5 minutes.
3. Add 100 ml of vinegar, boil for another 2 minutes, and pour over the cabbage.
4. Mix everything well, cover. When the cabbage has cooled, it is ready.
