In Ukraine, the season of one of our favorite summer treats, corn, has already begun. This is truly the easiest to prepare, but very valuable and healthy product that can be boiled, fried, made into flour, cooked porridge, and even preserved for the winter.

1. Spicy corn in the oven
This option is just perfect for meat as a side dish. In addition, everything is very easy to prepare.
Ingredients:
- Young corn – 2-3 pcs
- dry chili pepper – 1/2 tsp
- oil – 1-2 tbsp
- butter – 50-80 g
- salt – 1 tsp
Method of preparation:
- Peel the corn, if it is not very young - you can, of course, cook it, but it is better to take the youngest.
- First, break or cut into 3-4 pieces, depending on the size.
- Put them on a baking sheet, brush generously with salt and pepper, oil, and put them in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
- Remove the corn 10 minutes before it is ready, pour melted butter over it, and put it back in the oven.
Add salt to taste before serving.
2. Grilled corn
Ingredients:
- Young corn – 2-3 pcs
- salt – 1 tsp
- paprika – 1 tbsp
- butter – 50 g
Method of preparation:
- Mix paprika with salt, and mix thoroughly.
- Melt the butter and add to the mixture, mix well.
- Peel the corn, and break it in half, but you can leave it whole – if desired, brush generously with hot sauce.
- Put on the grid and fry for about 15 minutes on both sides, turning occasionally.
Add salt to taste before serving.
3. Grilled corn on the cob
This is the easiest and fastest way to prepare the dish.
Ingredients:
- corn – 2-3 pcs
- water – 1.5 liters
- salt – 1 tsp
- butter – 50 g
Method of preparation:
- Soak whole, unpeeled corn in a large bowl for 30 minutes. This way, it will remain very juicy during frying.
- After the time has elapsed, gently unfold the leaves, but do not tear them.
- Melt the butter and gently brush the corn.
- Then, roll the leaves back up and tie them with a food string so that they do not open during cooking.
- Put them on the grill and bake for about 20-25 minutes until fully cooked.
Serve best when hot.
