Apricots are very juicy, tasty, and healthy fruits that housewives use to make jams, sauces, flavorful pies, and preserves for the winter. They can also be dried to make delicious dried apricots and frozen.

A tip from the cook: the fruit should be slightly green and firm!

Ingredients:

  • apricots - 2 kg

Ingredients:

  • sugar - 500 g
  • water - 200 ml

Method of preparation:

1. Syrup: bring water and sugar to a boil, sugar should dissolve completely.

2. Wash the apricots, make an incision and carefully remove the pit.

3. Put the apricots in the syrup, do not stir, and put on low heat for 40-50 minutes. But make sure that the skin does not peel off.

4. Remove the apricots from the syrup with a spoon and place them in a dehydrator. Dry at 60 C for a whole day, then turn them over to the other side and dry them again. Then drain the syrup and dry the apricots without syrup.
