How to prepare the perfect meat gravy: for potatoes, porridge and pasta
Everyone knows that gravy is a good addition to many dishes: cereals, pasta, and mashed potatoes. And most often it is cooked with meat because this is how it turns out to be especially nourishing and tasty.
The recipe for the universal meat gravy is published on the culinary blog tomka_recepti on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- meat - 400 g
- onion - 1 pc
- carrot - 1 pc
- sweet pepper - 1/3 pc
- flour - 2 tbsp.
- water - 2 glasses
- salt and pepper
- dried garlic, paprika, basil
- ketchup
- sugar
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the fry the meat.
2. Add salt and pepper. Fry well.
3. Chop the onion and add to the meat. Fry until the onion is soft.
4. Cut the carrots and pepper into cubes. Add to the meat and fry.
5. Add flour. Stir to combine.
6. Add water and stew for some time.
7. Add spices, ketchup and sugar at the same time. Simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
