How to prepare stewed cabbage with spices quickly and deliciously
Stewed cabbage is quite a boring dish, but at the same time it is hearty and nutritious. It does not have to be cooked with meat, mushrooms or even cereals. Stewed cabbage can be cooked simply with spices in its own juice. In addition, it is in this form that stewed cabbage can be a good filling for dumplings or pies.

Ingredients:
- cabbage
- carrot
- onion
- tomato paste
- dried garlic
- smoked paprika
- salt
- water (if necessary)
Method of preparation:
1. Chop the cabbage.
2. Pour olive oil into a pan. Add the cabbage. Cook over low to medium heat until the juice releases. Then simmer.
3. Add the tomato paste. You can add a little water if the cabbage has not released enough juice.
4. Add spices. Optionally, add grated carrots or fried onions. Simmer for about 1 hour until soft.
