How to prepare rice-covered meatballs: a hearty dish for the whole family

Ingredients:
- pepper - 1 pc
- onion - 1/2 pc
- tomatoes - 1-3 pcs
- grated tomatoes - 500 ml
- water 100 ml
- salt, pepper - to taste
- oregano
- fresh herbs - a bunch
- minced beef - 400 g
- eggs - 1 pc
- onion - 1/2 pc
- potatoes - 1 pc
- basmati rice - 150 g
Method of preparation:
1. Make the minced meat: beat onions, potatoes, and half of the greens in a blender.
2. Combine the minced meat with egg, salt and oregano.
3. Soak the rice in boiling water for 20 minutes. Set aside the minced meat.
4. Make the vegetable sauce: dice 1/2 onion, peppers and tomatoes and fry them one by one. First onion, then add peppers and then tomatoes.
5. Add salt, pepper, and pasta, heat, pour water and simmer the sauce for 7-10 minutes.
6. At this time, form 7-8 meatballs, roll them in rice and put them in the sauce. Do not stir them and do not pour the sauce over.
7. Cover and simmer over medium heat for 35-40 minutes.
