How to prepare moist semolina cake with cherries: the easiest pastry for tea
Semolina cake is a delicious simple pie that never disappoints. Most of all, it is loved for the fact that it is prepared from available ingredients. The dessert also turns out very tender, moderately moist, and thanks to a variety of berries as a filling, has a slight sourness.
Food blogger Maryna (marisha_recepti) shared a recipe for semolina cake with cherries on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- kefir - 1 tbsp
- semolina - 1 tbsp
- sugar - 1 tbsp
- vanilla sugar - 1 tsp.
- vegetable oil - 0.5 tbsp
- eggs - 2 pcs
- leavening agent - 1 tsp.
- flour - 1 tbsp
- cherries or strawberries
Shape - diameter of 22-24 centimeters
Volume of a glass - 250 ml
Method of preparation:
1. Mix kefir with semolina. Leave for 20 minutes.
2. Add eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar and vegetable oil. Stir.
3. Add flour. Stir the dough until smooth.
4. Oil the mold. Put the dough in.
5. Decorate with cherries on top.
6. Bake at 170 degrees for 40 minutes.
