How to prepare juicy puff pastry pies with meat
If you want to make a delicious pie but don't have time to do so, you can make your life much easier using puff pastry. It will easily become the basis for delicious pies with juicy meat filling.
The recipe for puff pastry pies with meat was shared by food blogger Veronika Koroliova (vilolenta) on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- puff pastry - 500 g
- minced beef - 500 g
- onion - 1 pc.
- tomatoes in their own juice - 1 can
- eggs - 1 pc.
- cumin
- paprika
- cilantro
- salt, pepper, sugar
- sesame seeds
Method of preparation:
1. Fry the minced meat in vegetable oil for about 3 minutes.
2. Chop the onion and add to the minced meat. Stir to combine.
3. Add tomatoes and spices. Cook until thickened.
4. After cooking, add fresh herbs.
5. Roll out the dough and cut it into squares. Form envelopes and add the filling. To prevent the dough from sticking to your hands, you can grease the sides with water.
6. Brush the pies with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
7. Bake at 200 degrees for 15 minutes.
