How to prepare homemade watermelon liqueur: the perfect drink for summer

Ingredients:
- quality vodka - 1 liter.
- watermelon core - 1.5 kg.
- sugar - 800 g
- water - 400 ml.
- lemon - 1 piece (zest)
- vanilla sugar - 1 tsp.
Method of preparation:

1. Cut the watermelon into small pieces.
2. Put into a clean jar.

3. Add the lemon zest and vanilla.
5. Pour in vodka.
6. Close with a lid and leave for 7-10 days in a dark place, shaking the jar every day.

8. Make sugar and water syrup (until the sugar is dissolved) and cool.
