How to pickle zucchini with chili ketchup for winter: a quick recipe
Canned zucchini is the most popular and versatile preservation. For example, winter zucchini salads, which are also an appetizer. They are suitable for any side dish and are also quite tasty on their own. You can also prepare zucchini with chili ketchup. It will bemoderately spicy, savory, very fragrant and crispy.
Food blogger Yulia Symonchuk (cook_julija_simonchuk) shared a recipe for canned zucchini with chili ketchup on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- zucchini
- water - 7 glasses
- vinegar - 1 glass
- sugar -1 cup
- salt - 2 tbsp
- Chili ketchup - 1 p
- garlic - a few cloves
Method of preparation:
1. Pour water into a saucepan, add vinegar, salt, sugar and ketchup. Put on the fire and cook until the salt and sugar dissolve.
2. Meanwhile, cut the zucchini into slices and put them in clean jars.
3. Add chopped garlic.
4. Pour the marinade over the zucchini, cover with lids and put on fire (put in a saucepan with a cloth on the bottom and cover with water). Sterilize for 15 minutes from the moment of boiling.
5. Close the lids and turn the jars upside down.
