How to pickle tomatoes in zucchini: an interesting appetizer for winter
A very original idea would be to preserve tomatoes for the winter in zucchini. This preservation will be an interesting addition to your holiday table. And most importantly, it is very simple and quick to prepare.
The idea of cooking pickled tomatoes in zucchini was published on the Instagram page of a food blogger with the nickname danilchenko 77. The vegetables are very juicy.
Ingredients:
- zucchini
- tomato
- allspice - 6 pcs.
- garlic - 4 cloves
- dill bunch
- parsley
- sweet pepper - 1 pc.
- bitter pepper - 1/3 pc.
- onion - 1 pc.
Ingredients for the marinade:
- water
- salt - 1 tbsp
- sugar - 1 tbsp
- vinegar - 1 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the zucchini into 1-centimeter thick rings.
2. Cut out the middle with a glass and insert the tomato in it.
3. Put chopped onion, garlic, sweet pepper, and dill at the bottom of the jar.
4. Next, add the zucchini rings (as many as fit) and top with the bitter pepper, sweet peas and parsley.
5. Pour boiling water over.
6. Wait 20-25 minutes, drain the water and add salt, sugar and vinegar.
7. Boil the marinade and pour into a jar. Close with a lid and cover.
