How to pickle plums for winter: a tasty option
Seasonal sweet plums make a great appetizer. For example, you can pickle them. The fruit turns out to be very tasty because it contains a lot of spices. This preparation is very versatile: it can be combined with sweet ingredients or meat, or eaten as an independent dish.
The idea of making pickled plums was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Vira with the nickname vera_cooking8.
Ingredients:
- plums
- water - 1 liter
- sugar - 300 g
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- cloves - 15 pcs
Cooking method:
1. These ingredients are enough for a 3-liter jar. The plums must be prepared in advance and rinsed well.
2. Fill the container with them tightly.
3. Prepare the marinade: boil cloves, water, sugar and cinnamon well.
4. Pour it over the plums.
5. Sterilize for at least 30 minutes and then close.
