How to pickle onions in 10 minutes: for meat and salads

Pickled onions are not only tasty but also quite healthy snacks. They are used as an independent dish, and even more often as an additional ingredient in salads, sandwiches, meat, and fish dishes.

The recipe for pickled onions was published on one of the culinary channels on YouTube. (To watch the video, scroll down to the end of the news story).

Ingredients:

  • onions – 70 g
  • sugar – 1 tsp.
  • table vinegar 9% – 1 tbsp.
  • warm water – 100 ml

Method of preparation:

1. Peel the onion and cut into half rings.

2. Combine sugar, vinegar and water.

3. Pour the marinade over the onions. Leave to marinate for 10 minutes.

4. Drain the marinade and use the onions in dishes.
