Green tomatoes with sugar
Ingredients:
- tomato - 3 kg
- garlic - 1 pc. large
- water - 1.5 liters
- 9% vinegar - 200 g
- sugar - 200 g
- salt - 2 tbsp
- black pepper - 1 tbsp
- allspice - 1 tbsp
- cloves - 1 tsp
- seasoning - 4 tbsp
- bay leaf - 7 pcs
Method of preparation:
- Wash the tomatoes and cut them in half.
- Prepare sterile jars. Put bay leaf, chopped garlic, pepper, cloves on the bottom.
- For the marinade, boil water, add salt and sugar, bring to a boil, add vinegar and immediately pour the hot marinade over the tomatoes.
- Turn the jars upside down, wrap them in a towel or blanket, and leave them to cool.
- When the jars are completely cool, transfer them to a dark, cool place.
