How to pickle grapes: a simple fruit appetizer
The grape season is in full swing. Most people are used to eating this product fresh or in a salad, but it can also be preserved. It turns out to be a complete fruit snack that will perfectly complement any celebration.
The idea of cooking pickled grapes was published on the cooking_ua Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- grapes - 300 g
- water - 1 cup
- sugar - 1 tsp.
- salt - 2 tsp
- allspice - 3 peas
- bay leaves - 1 pc
- 1-2 clove buds
- 70% vinegar - 2 ml (0.5 tsp)
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the grapes thoroughly, pour boiling water over for 2 minutes, and drain.
2. Put allspice, bay leaf, and cloves on the bottom of the jar.
3. Put the grapes tightly.
4. Dissolve salt and sugar in water and bring to a boil.
5. Pour the hot brine over the grapes. Add vinegar.
Close with a lid, wrap in a blanket and leave to cool.
