How to pickle cucumbers with peppers for winter: recipe for a simple marinade

It is delicious to pickle peppers and cucumbers for the winter in one jar. This preparation will be a great alternative to salads and will be a great addition to the festive table. And in order to prepare it, you need to make a very simple marinade.

The idea of cooking canned cucumbers with bell peppers for the winter was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Myroslava with the nickname miroslava sapchenko. Add carrots and onions as well.

Ingredients:

  • small cucumbers - 4.5 kg.
  • bell peppers - 4 large pcs.
  • onions - 5 pcs.
  • carrots - 4 pcs.

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the onion into half rings and pepper into strips.

2. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater or on one for Korean-style carrots.

3. Put all the vegetables in a bowl.

4. Add salt water: 18 cups of water + 2 cups of salt (200 g each).

5. Leave the cucumbers in salt water for 3 hours.

6. Then drain the water, put the cucumbers and vegetables in jars.

7. You can also put peppercorns and garlic on the bottom of the jar.

Ingredients for the marinade:

  • water - 4 cups
  • vinegar - 3 cups
  • sugar - 5 cups

Method of preparation:

1. Boil everything and pour over the cucumbers. You should get 7-8 liter jars

2. Sterilize for 10-15 minutes. Wrap in a blanket.
