How to pickle cucumbers to make them crispy: they cook very quickly
Pickled cucumbers are a great appetizer that will complement both the festive table and an ordinary lunch or dinner. The dish is especially relevant in the summer season. And in order for the vegetable to be crisp and flavorful, it is not necessary to wait days and months - a few hours will be enough.
The idea of preparing spicy pickles was published on the Instagram page of the famous Ukrainian food blogger Valeriy Ponomar (ponomar_valeriy).
Ingredients:
- cucumbers - 500 g
- dill - bunch
- parsley - bunch
- garlic - 3 cloves
- hot pepper - 1/2 pc.
- lemon - juice of 1/2 pc.
- honey - 2 tsp.
- salt - a pinch
- sesame oil - 2 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. It is better to choose cucumbers that are not bitter, of medium size.
2. An hour before cooking, wash the cucumbers and pour cold water with ice.
3. Let it sit for an hour.
4. To the cucumbers add the rest of the ingredients and mix well, send to the refrigerator in an airtight container for 2 hours.
