Ingredients (for 2 liters of water):

  • 4 tbsp of salt
  • 6 tbsp of sugar
  • 4 tsp of 9% vinegar

1. Put onion rings on the bottom of a clean sterilized jar (about 1-1.5 rings in 0.5 liters, 2-3 rings in 1 liter), add pepper and mustard.

2. Remove tomato tails.

3. Wash the tomatoes well and make punctures with a toothpick or a wooden skewer.

4. Fill the jars with tomatoes.

5. Pour boiling water over.

6. After 10 minutes, carefully drain the water from the jars into a saucepan.

7. Add salt and sugar and bring to a boil. Add vinegar, stir, and pour into jars immediately.

8. Close the jars with clean, sterilized lids, turn them upside down, and wrap them until they cool completely.
