Ingredients:

  • onion – 1 pc
  • beets – 1 pc

Ingredients for the marinade:

  • boiling water – 200 ml
  • sugar – 2 tbsp
  • salt – 0.5 tsp
  • apple cider vinegar – 5 tbsp
  • seasoning for marinating – 1 tbsp

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the onion and beetroot (not cooked) into thin half rings.

2. Layer the onion and beetroot in the jar.

3. For the marinade, mix hot water, sugar and salt, seasoning, and vinegar.

4. Bring to a boil.

5. Boil for a minute.

6. Pour this marinade over the onions.

7. Close the lid and in an hour the onions will be ready.
