Kebabs are a win-win option and delicious meat dish that will harmonize well on a festive table. Barbecue is prepared from different meats, but the most important thing is to make a good marinade. If you have a minimal set of products at home, even ordinary onions and spices will do. The meat turns out very juicy and tender.
Popular chef Valeriy Ponomar (ponomar_valeriy) shared a recipe for barbecue with onions and spices on his Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- pork neck - 2 kg
- onion - 1 kg
- salt - 1 tbsp
- black pepper - 1 tsp.
- sweet paprika - 1/2 tbsp.
- hot pepper - 1/2 tsp.
- dried basil - 1/2 tbsp.
- coriander - 1 tsp.
- vegetable oil - 4 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the meat into portions.
2. Cut the onion into half rings. Mix it with salt and mash it with your hands to let the juice out.
3. Mix the onion with the pork.
4. Add all the spices and oil. Mix thoroughly. Marinate for 2-3 hours.
5. Grill or bake the kebabs.
