Aspic is a dish that is present on any Ukrainian holiday table. It is delicious, nutritious and healthy. But in order for everyone to like it, it must also look good and be transparent. This is an indicator of its appetizing taste and the skills of the hostess.
Food blogger Inna Lagomin shared on Instagram how to make a transparent aspic so that it will impress everyone with its appearance. This aspic will be so tasty that even picky children will like it. She also shared three main secrets that she always uses when preparing this dish.
Ingredients.
- Chicken quarters - 3 pcs.
- Carrots - 1 pc.
- Onion - 1 pc.
- Water - 1-1,5 liters
- Seasoning for aspic
- Salt - 1 tsp.
The secrets of cooking
1. The broth should not actively boil, just shake a little.
2. Remove all the fat.
3. Strain the broth several times.
Method of preparation
1. Put the meat, peeled carrots and unpeeled onions in a thick-bottomed saucepan.
2. Add water and cook for 4 hours over low heat.
3. Periodically remove excess fat and foam.
4. Add the seasoning with gelatin. Cook for another 10 minutes.
5. Take out the meat and vegetables, strain the liquid.
6. Grate the garlic.
7. Separate the meat from the bones and put it into portioned plates.
8. Add the sliced carrots and herbs.
9. Pour the broth so that it completely covers the meat.
10. Put it in the fridge until it is completely frozen.
