How to make thin openwork waffles in a pan: you will need a bottle
The popular and beloved Belgian waffles can even be made in a frying pan. You'll be surprised, but all you need is an ordinary bottle. This life hack allows you to make thin, openwork and crispy waffles.
Chef Serршн Pokanevych (sergeypokanevich) shared a recipe for Belgian waffles on his Instagram page that you can easily make in a frying pan.
Ingredients:
- flour - 100 g
- chicken eggs - 2 pcs
- milk - 50 ml + 100 ml
- sugar
- salt - a pinch
- vanilla - 1 g
- butter - 90 g
- vegetable oil - 1 tsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Mix flour, eggs, 50 ml of milk, sugar, salt and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
2. Add the rest of the milk and melted butter. Mix until the dough is homogeneous.
3. Next, prepare the bottle by making two small holes in the lid.
4. Pour the resulting batter into a bottle, close the lid.
5. Grease a frying pan with vegetable oil. Pour a little batter to form a so-called lace. Fry the waffles on both sides until cooked.
6. Serve the waffles wrapped in a tube.
