Every housewife's dream is to make delicious, thick-pitched cherry jam for the winter. But the problem is that it is not always possible due to incorrect proportions or the wrong cooking method.

1. Pitted jam from 3 ingredients
Ingredients:
- cherries - 1 kg
- water - 150 ml
- sugar - 650 g
Method of preparation:
- Wash the cherries and remove the pits from them, cover them with a glass of sugar, and leave them overnight so that they are well juiced.
- Syrup: heat a glass of water, add the remaining sugar, and pour the syrup over the cherries, mix well and leave for a couple of hours.
- After the time is up, boil for 5 minutes, stirring well.
- After that, remove the jam from the heat and let it brew for another 8 hours, then boil it again and preserve it.
2. Cherry jam with nuts
Ingredients:
- cherries - 3 kg
- walnuts - 300 g
- sugar - 2 kg
Cooking method:
- Wash the cherries well, remove the pits, put them in a saucepan, and cover with sugar.
- Let it brew for about 1 hour.
- After that, put it on medium heat, and cook for about 40 minutes, stirring constantly, and be sure to remove the foam.
- Chop the nuts with a blender, rolling pin, or just a knife.
- After 30 minutes, add the nuts to the jam and mix thoroughly, cook for another 10 minutes and you can put it in jars and preserve it.
