Flavored buns are the perfect tea treat, and the most important thing is to make a successful fluffy dough. You can use any berries, fruits, as well as nuts, poppy seeds, raisins, and salty ingredients such as cabbage, meat, fish, and mushrooms for the filling.

Ingredients:

  • warm milk - 130 ml

  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • sugar - 60 g

  • oil - 20 g
  • pressed yeast - 20 g
Flour and eggs
  • melted butter - 30 g
Wheat flour
  • flour - 380 g
  • vanilla - 1/2 package

Filling:

  • cranberries - 100 g
  • sugar - 40 g
Fresh cranberries
  • water - 1 tbsp
  • ready-made poppy seed filling

Method of preparation:

1. Dough: add sugar and yeast to warm milk. Mix well. Then add 100 g of flour and mix until smooth. Leave the dough in a warm place for 10 minutes. Then add the eggs and all the sugar, mix, add the flour and vanilla. Then add the butter and mix with a spoon until the dough is completely absorbed.

2. Put the finished dough on a table and knead by hand for 7-10 minutes. If necessary, grease your hands with vegetable oil to prevent the dough from sticking. Then cover it with a towel and leave it in a warm place for 40 minutes to rise.

3. Filling: wash the berries and put them in a blender, add sugar and water, beat until smooth, transfer the saucepan and cook the jam for 5-7 minutes.

4. Flour the table, put the dough out and roll it into a thin rectangle. Align the ends with a knife. Spread one half of the dough with jam, the other half with the prepared poppy seed filling, wrap the part with jam inside, top with the poppy seed filling, and roll the roll out a little. Cut strips 3 cm wide and make a spiral. Connect the opposite ends and pinch.

5. Put the finished buns on a baking sheet with parchment, leave for 20 minutes, brush with an egg and 1 tbsp of water. Sprinkle poppy seeds on top and bake for 18-20 minutes at 180 C.
