How to make sweet cream sauce: an alternative to condensed milk
Sweet cream sauce is a simple alternative to condensed milk. It goes well with cheesecakes, pancakes, pancakes, pancakes and waffles. You can even eat this creamy sauce on bread.
Food blogger Irina with the nickname ira.shaf_cooking shared a recipe for sweet cream sauce on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- cream – 200 ml
- sugar – 150 g
- vanilla
- salt – a pinch
- soda – a pinch
Method of preparation:
1. Cream, sugar, vanilla, and baking soda put in a saucepan with a volume of at least 1 liter. This is necessary because the mass in the process of cooking will foam and increase in volume.
2. Put the pot on the fire and cook for 15 minutes over high heat, stirring frequently. During the first few minutes, the mass will rise – this is normal.
3. Add salt at the end of cooking. Stir and remove from heat.
4. Pour the hot sauce into a glass jar with a lid. Store in the refrigerator.
