How to make pumpkin paste: better than spread and pate

While the pumpkin season is coming rapidly, you should actively use it in your cooking, as this healthy product can replace many of our usual high-calorie dishes. For example, instead of various spreads and pates, you can make a delicious, light and nutritious paste.

The idea of making pumpkin paste was published on the Instagram page of blogger Alla with the nickname alla_latonya_ .

Ingredients:

  • pumpkin - 800 g
  • sun-dried tomatoes - 150 g
  • onions - 3 pcs
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • roasted sunflower seeds - 50 g
  • salt, pepper - to taste
  • sweet paprika, turmeric - 1/4 tsp each

Method of preparation:

1. Peel the pumpkin and bake it in the oven until tender.

2. Fry the onion and garlic until golden brown.

3. Wipe the sun-dried tomatoes until dry.

4. Put everything in a blender, add spices and half of the roasted sunflower seeds and beat well until smooth.

5. Add the rest of the sunflower seeds to the whipped paste and mix again.
