Plums are very tasty and healthy fruits, the season of which begins in August and lasts until September. It's a great time to enjoy juicy plums and make many flavorful dishes from them, such as pies, jams, and compotes.

1. Plum jam with pits
Ingredients:
- plums - 0.7 kg
- sugar - 0.5 kg
- water - 150 ml
Method of preparation:
- Wash the plums, and prick them with a fork.
- Transfer to a large saucepan, cover with sugar, stir, and leave for 1 hour.
- Add water, put the pot on the fire, and bring to a boil.
- After that, cook for another 10 minutes, do this 3 times.
- After 3 times, transfer the jam to sterile jars and preserve.
- Be sure to turn the jars upside down, cover with a warm cloth, and leave to cool.
- Then transfer them to a dark, cool room.
2. Plum jam with mint and cinnamon
Ingredients:
- plums - 500 g
- sugar - 450 g
- mint - 2 sprigs
- cinnamon - 1 stick
Method of preparation:
- Wash the plums, remove the pits, and chop them.
- Cover with sugar and leave for 2 hours.
- Then add the cinnamon and mint, stir, and cook until it boils, then be sure to remove them from the jam.
- Put the finished jam in sterile jars and preserve it.
- Turn them upside down and leave them until they cool completely.
