How to make perfect syrniki that don't fall apart: we share the secrets of making a breakfast dish
Syrniki is the simplest and most delicious breakfast dish based on cottage cheese, eggs, and sugar. Very often, syrniki fall apart during cooking due to the large amount of sugar or eggs in the base, as well as because they are not fried properly.
Cook Polina shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious and successful syrniki, which turn out to be the same size and have a nice golden crust.
Thesecret to successful syrniki: add 1 egg yolk to the dough, which will glue the base and to make them fluffy and airy, add rice flour instead of wheat flour.
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese - 200 g
- egg yolk - 1 pc.
- rice flour - 2 tbsp.
- sugar - 1 tbsp
- vanilla sugar - 0.5 g
Method of preparation:
1. Mash the cottage cheese, add the egg yolk, sugar, vanilla sugar, mix.
2. Add the flour and mix well again.
3. Form the syrniki with wet hands and roll them in rice flour.
4. Heat a little oil in a frying pan, reduce the heat to medium and fry the syrniki.
