No holiday table is complete without dishes with mayonnaise. And it is this product that, if bought in a store, makes any food extremely high in calories. Therefore, it is worth preparing such a dressing at home, replacing the usual ingredients and experimenting with flavors.

Dietitian and nutritionist Marta Marova shared her options for making healthy mayonnaise on her Instagram page.

⠀ Various combination options for homemade mayonnaise:

  • Greek yogurt, olive oil, mustard, parsley, garlic, salt
  • Avocado, water, honey, cumin, garlic, lemon juice
  • Greek yogurt, mustard, salt, sugar substitute, lemon juice
  • Sour cream, garlic, parsley, mustard, salt
  • Olive oil, mustard, sugar substitute, egg yolks, lemon
  • Greek yogurt, olive oil, raw egg yolk, curry, lime juice, salt
  • Olive oil, mustard, salt, sour cream, garlic
  • Greek yogurt, grainy mustard, mustard, boiled egg yolk, garlic
  • Greek yogurt, olive oil, mustard

Another option for preparing a low-calorie dressing:

1. Mix store-bought mayonnaise with Greek yogurt 50/50

2. Mayonnaise should not be 52-70%, but 15-30%.

3. This combination will reduce the calorie content of the dish at times.
