The idea of making homemade hard cheese was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Iryna Ratushniak with the nickname _cook_time_love_ .

Ingredients:

  • cottage cheese - 1 kg
  • milk - 1 kg
  • eggs - 2 pcs
  • butter - 100 g
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • soda - 1 tsp

Ingredients:

1. Combine cottage cheese with milk. Bring to a boil and cook over low heat for 15 minutes. Strain and squeeze.

2. Combine cottage cheese, salt, baking soda and butter.

3. Cook for 6-7 minutes over low heat, stirring constantly.

4. Add 2 eggs. Cook for a few more minutes, stirring constantly until a viscous consistency is obtained.

5. Put the curd mass into a mold (silicone or wrap in cling film). Let it cool for 2-3 hours.
