Bread is one of the most delicious and popular foods that everyone eats. It is worth noting that it is prepared from different dough, often without kneading and from different flours, bran and even meat - meat with vegetables.

Blogger Iryna Bondarchuk shared in Instagram a recipe for delicious, milky Japanese bread "Hokkaido", which is cooked for only 1 hour.

A secret from the cook: all ingredients must be at room temperature.

Ingredients:

Dough:

  • flour - 360 g
  • warm milk - 230 g
  • milk powder - 25 g
  • fresh yeast - 21 g
  • sugar - 50 g
  • butter - 45 g
  • salt - a pinch

For coating

  • egg yolk - 1 pc.
  • milk - 2 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Mix the warm milk and sugar, stir and add the yeast, stir again and leave for 10-15 minutes to form an okra.

2. Sift the flour, together with the milk powder and salt, into the opara, pour in the milk and mix well.

3. Knead the dough into an elastic dough, add the chopped butter and knead the dough for 15 minutes. Afterwards, cover the bowl with clingfilm or a towel and put it in a warm place for an hour.

4. Divide the ready dough into 4 even pieces, roll each piece into a rectangle shape and roll up into a tube, making sure to pinch the edges and transfer to the mold.

5. Be sure to cover the mold with the dough again with a towel and leave for another 30 minutes to let it rise well.

6. Mix egg and milk, brush generously over bread.

7. Put the mold in the oven and bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees Celsius for 25-30 minutes.
